Goa opened their U-23 Women’s Elite T20 campaign with a solid 38-run win over Rajasthan at the VCA Stadium at Nagpur.
Batting first, Goa put up 159/4, through Usma Khan‘s 56 and 51 from Tanisha Gaikwad. Their 54-run third-wicket stand provided the platform, with Harshita Yadav (27) and Athashree Shivarkar (16)* adding important runs late on. Rajasthan’s four bowlers—Shanu, Kanwar, Archana, and Sharma—took one wicket each.
Rajasthan finishing on 121 with Metali Gawander’s 3 for 21, while Usma Khan added 2 for 22.
