Sao Jose de Areal

Immaculate Conception High School, Paroda put on a clinic as
they secured an easy victory against St. Rita High School, Maina Curtorim in the U-17 Girls competition of the Next Gen League 3.0 on Tuesday.

Richel Vissoscar starred in their  win, claiming the Player of the Match recognition for her
performance.

The U- 15 matchups saw  six teams battle it out on a rainy afternoon, at Sao Jose de Areal.

In the Boys Group A action, The King’s School, battled to a hard-fought draw against
St. Pius X High School, Orlim as the visitors held on through the onslaught for a share of
the spoils.

St. Pius X’s Jade Sequeira earned Player of the Match honors for his standout performance on all thirds of the pitch.

Meanwhile, in the Group B U-15 boys fixture, Perpetual Succour Convent High School, Navelim eased past Fr. Agnel Multipurpose High School, Verna, with Kaelan Pires taking home the Player of the Match award.

Despite the Verna side putting up a tough fight, they eventually
succumbed to the firepower of Perpetual Succour CHS.

The U-15 Girls division saw the hosts fare better in a reversal of fates, as The King’s School defeated Perpetual Succour
CHS.

Their victory was orchestrated courtesy Joiada Rocha’s match-winning display  which earned her top
honors.

Organized by The King’s Sports Academy, the Next Gen League is Goa’s largest inter-school football tournament, now in its third edition. The development-focused league awards three points for wins, two for draws, and one for losses, with scores not published to emphasize player growth
over results.
