A Vasco resident has lodged a complaint with authorities about several four-wheelers abandoned along the roadside behind the Vales House in Alto-Dabolim, saying the vehicles are causing inconvenience to commuters.
In a letter to the Deputy Collector of Mormugao taluka and the Police Inspector of the Vasco Traffic Cell, Sanjay Mhalsekar said several four-wheelers have been lying unattended for years behind the Vales House, creating a nuisance for road users and posing a traffic hazard.
The complaint has provided registration numbers of three vehicles, which have been occupying roadside space for an
extended period.
Mhalsekar urged the authorities to take immediate action and remove what he described as a “traffic hurdle” for the residents and motorists.
The letter, supported by photographic evidence, was inwarded at the Office of the Deputy Collector (SDO), Mormugao, on November 8.
Residents had long raised concerns about abandoned vehicles contributing to congestion and safety risks, and the complainant hopes the matter will be addressed promptly.
