Margao school student wins Parrikar Konkani elocution competition

The Mushtifund Konkani Mandal, in collaboration with Ravindra Kelekar Dnyanmandir and YUVA, organised the Manohar Parrikar All Goa Konkani Elocution Competition 2024 at Ravindra Kelekar Dnyanmandir, Margao, to commemorate the birth anniversary of late Manohar Parrikar. The competition saw the participation of 29 students from across Goa.

Educationist Bhaskar Naik was the chief guest, while Konkani leader Prashant Naik was the guest of honour.

The first prize was awarded to Shrija Alve from Ravindra Kelekar Dnyanmandir High School, Margao. The second prize went to Rezzi Parab from St. John of the Cross High School, Sanquelim. The third prize was claimed by Priyanka Porob from GS Amonkar High School, Mapusa.

The first consolation prize was awarded to Athashri Naik from AJ de Almeida High School, Ponda. The second consolation prize went to Ansha Naik from Shri Nirakar Vidyalaya High School, Canacona. The third consolation prize was claimed by Shrishti Gavas from Dr. KB Hedgewar High School, Cujira.

The competition was judged by Navanath Khandeparkar, Dilip Prabhudessai, and Marcus Gonsalves.
