DCT’s Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College (Autonomous), Dempo AI Business School – BBA Department, through its Marquee Club, organised a Brainwave Hour – Peer Learning Session titled ‘Beyond the Screens’. The session saw the participation of 44 students. The resource person for the session was Andre Pereira, an alumnus of the college and a professional associated with Slipdisc Advertising & Events Pvt. Ltd., where he contributes to digital strategy and media management.
Drawing from his professional experience, Pereira shared valuable insights on the growing influence of digital media and the need to maintain a balance between online and offline engagement in today’s fast-paced, technology-driven world. He emphasised the importance of mindful digital usage to enhance focus, productivity, and overall well-being.
The event was organised under the guidance of assistant professor Tania Shirodkar and coordinated by the Marquee Club team.
