MRF Cricketers trounced Al Fatah CC by 162 runs in the GCA Division A South Zone match at Margao on
Friday.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Al Fatah CC struggled to contain MRF’s batting lineup. Gaurav was the standout performer, anchoring the innings with a brilliant 91. Saeesh Desai chipped in with a valuable 34, while Jaganiwas Patil (25) and Aditya Angle (18) provided crucial contributions to guide MRF to 246 in 46.2 overs. Afridsab PR was the pick of the bowlers for Al Fatah CC, finishing with impressive figures of 3/24, supported by Nitin Kalekar (2/41) and Varad Dabolkar (2/60).

In response, Al Fatah CC faltered under pressure, bowled out for just 84 in 25 overs. Aditya Angle’s impactful bowling performance earned him the POTM.
