Navelim SC entered the semifinal after a 4-2 win via tie-breaker over Sporting Club of Davorlim in the 4th Betalbatim Villagers Cup at Betalbatim ground on
Wednesday.

Navelim opened their scoring through Macvin Gomes while Alent Colaco levelled for SC Davorlim in the 33rd minute to make it 1-1.

In the second half, Milton Colaco rattled the crossbar in the 50th minute before Davorlim went close again late on. With the deadlock unbroken, Navelim held their nerve to win the shootout 3-1.

Selvin Gomes was named the Man of the Match.
