Navelim VU eased past Arlem YA 3-1 in the 17th Seraulim Panchayat Cup at the Seraulim panchayat ground on Friday.
Mobin Gomes set the tone early, smashing home in the 10th minute to hand Navelim the lead. However, Arlem YA responded well, finding the equalizer through Silvano Oliviera just before the break.
The second half saw Navelim come out with renewed intent, and they reclaimed the lead when Meliston Dias made a blistering run down the left flank before clinically slotting past the keeper. Arlem pushed hard for another equalizer, creating several dangerous chances, but failed to make them count.
Their missed opportunities proved costly as Ronaldo Pereira sealed the win.
