Prajat Halankar continued his fine run at the Bandodkar Panjim Gymkhana Tennis Open 2025, outclassing Raju Kundaikar 6-3 in the men’s singles quarter-finals. One of the tournament’s most consistent performers, Prajat is set to return to the
court later Thursday, teaming up with Avadhut Palekar for the men’s doubles quarter-final.
Palekar, meanwhile, heads into the tie full of momentum after a commanding 6-1 win in his previous doubles match against Joao Mergulhao and Rahul Pinto.
Prince D’Silva battled past Nagesh Naik 6-4 in a tight singles encounter before combining with Punit Fadte for a confident win in the doubles. Ganesh Vernekar and Bhalchandra Gaitonde put on a clinic in their 6-0 rout of Tanay Amonkar and Manoj Pandey, while Siddharth Nunes and Nagesh Naik impressed with a 6-1 victory over Allan Fernandes and James Darbar.
In the 45+ men’s doubles final, Sachin Dukle and Kevin Rebello dominated from start to finish, blanking Mano Chhabra and Suraj Pombra 6-0, 6-0 to
lift the title.
In the women’s singles, top seed Tithee Bhoomkar eased past her sister Bhaavya 6-1 in quarters.
