He added that the playground would be constructed at a cost of Rs 3 crore.
Among those present were Mayem MLA Premendra Shet, ZP Suresh Kepekar, former MLA Vasudev Meng Gaonkar and others.
At Pajimol, a foundation stone for a Krishi Ghar was laid in the presence of Agriculture Minister Ravi Naik. “He is a foresighted MLA who wants all-round development of his constituency,” Naik said. The Krishi Ghar, to be built at a cost of Rs 3 crore, will be completed at the earliest for the benefit of farmers, he said.

Farmers from Sanguem, Quepem and Curchorem supply milk on a large scale, but they have to go to Curtorim to visit a hospital. After consulting with the Chief Minister, we decided to build this facility here.”
He added that the hospital will have an operation theatre, X-ray facilities and other infrastructure, and though the stipulated time is 14 months, it would be completed
within a year.
