RC Goa secured a crucial five-wicket win over Dempo Challengers at Panjim Gymkhana, booking their spot in the Playoffs of PGML 4.0. With this win, RC Goa became the second team to qualify after Priority Titans.

Dempo, despite Om Fadte’s 35 off 24 balls, could only manage 137/6. Fadte’s efforts aside, Dempo’s batting lacked depth, with key players such as captain Tunish Sawkar (21) and Niraj Lotlekar (19) failing to capitalize on starts.

RC Goa comfortably chased down the target in 18 overs, thanks to a solid 40 from Samar Dubhashi, 36 from Nityay Kunkolienkar, and an unbeaten 22 from Ramnath Gaonkar, who was named the ‘Grant Thornton’ Man-of-the-Match.

Earlier, Baale Tigers registered their first win, defeating the Manas Mavericks by 2 wickets. Mavericks, after a strong start with 58/2, collapsed to 62/7, largely due to a brilliant hat-trick by Amey (4/25), who claimed the first-ever hat-trick of PGML 4.0.
