On the occasion of Reliance Founder-Chairman Dhirubhai Ambani’s 92nd birth anniversary, Reliance Foundation announced the results for its 2024-25 Undergraduate Scholarships. A total of 5,000 students from across India have been selected, including 21 from Goa. The scholarships aim to support young talent by providing Rs. 2 lakh in financial aid, along with mentorship and development opportunities.

Nearly 100,000 students from all parts of India applied for the scholarships. The selection process was based on Class 12 marks, an aptitude test, and financial need. Around 70% of the selected students come from families with annual incomes under Rs. 2.5 lakh, and 83% have scored over 90% in their Class 12 exams. The scholarships cover tuition, hostel fees, and other educational costs, and also offer additional support such as workshops
and guidance.
