Assonora: Saligao Sporting moved into the quarterfinal after a narrow 3-2 win via tie-breaker over PVC Association Parra in the Assonora Super Soccer Cup at Assonora Sports Complex on Wednesday.

At fulltime the score was 0-0. In the tie-breaker, Saligao proved to be better shooters with Nikhil Naik, Sydney D’mello and Abusaliya Hawaldar converted their kicks from the spot while Joston Cardozo and Joaquim Pacheco scored for Parra.

Augustin D’mello was awarded the man of the match for his performance under the bar.
