Shree Kamleshwar HS, Pernem, clinched the U-14 Boys President Cup Pernem Zone title with a 31-run victory over Viscount HS in the final. The match, held at panchayat ground, Varkhand, saw Kamleshwar HS post 154 all out in 23.4 overs after electing to bat first. A brilliant 78 from Atharva Kinlekar anchored their innings, with Yash Shetye contributing a valuable 12 runs.

Viscount HS, in response, was bowled out for 123 in 36.2 overs. Despite a fighting 30 from Rahul Tandel and a 20-run contribution from Bhargav Mahale, they fell short of the target. Kamleshwar’s bowlers were in fine form, with Ruhan Khan taking 4 wickets for 21 runs, and Bhargav Mahale supporting with 3 wickets for 32 runs.

Kamleshwar’s dominance was further highlighted by the performance of Atharva Kinlekar, who was named Man of the Match for his match-winning knock. The final was also graced by MLA Pravin Arlekar, who was present to witness the proceedings.
