They triumph in both men’s and women’s inter-collegiate handball titles

Fatorda: Canacona’s Shree Mallikarjun and Shri Chetan Manju Desai College of Arts & Commerce stamped their authority on the Goa University Inter-Collegiate Kho-Kho Championship 2024-25, clinching both the men’s and women’s titles at the SAG Kho-Kho Courts, Fatorda Sports Complex from January 21-23.

In the men’s final, Shree Mallikarjun College outclassed CES College of Arts & Commerce, Cuncolim with a 27-17 victory, showcasing tactical brilliance and relentless aggression.

The women’s final was a tighter contest, as Shree Mallikarjun edged past GVM’s Gopal Govind Poy Raiturcar College of Commerce & Economics, Farmagudi with a 14-12 win, sealing a historic double triumph.

The men’s semifinals saw Shree Mallikarjun edge past Government College Quepem 10-9, while CES College, Cuncolim got the better of SSA’s Government College, Pernem 15-7.

In the women’s semifinals, Shree Mallikarjun defeated CES College, Cuncolim 20-14, while GVM’s College, Farmagudi, dominated Government College, Quepem, registering a 10-4 win.
