They beat hosts SC Virabhat 9-8 via tie-breaker in interward final
Curtorim: Agxem SC were emerged champions of the Curtorim 9-a-side Interward Football Tournament 2026 after defeating hosts SC Virabhat 9-8 in a the tie-breaker at Curtorim.
SC Virabhat had the first real chance of the match when Josslan Fernandes fired over the crossbar from close range. Agxem SC gradually settled into the game and created opportunities of their own but failed to capitalise before the break.
After the change of ends, Agxem came agonisingly close when Micheal Paes struck the crossbar with a powerful effort.
At fulltime the score remained 0-0. In the tie-breaker, Agxem SC kept their composure to seal a narrow 9-8 victory.
