They clinch men’s and women’s singles crowns respectively

Fatorda: Anshuman Agarwal and Neeza Kamat clinched the Men’s and Women’s Singles titles at the Ulhas Jewellers BPS All Goa Major Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, held at the Multipurpose Stadium in Fatorda. The event, organised by BPS Sports Club in collaboration with the Goa Table Tennis Association, saw fierce competition across all age groups.

Anshuman staged a stunning comeback to defeat top seed Aaron Farias 4-2 in the Men’s final, while Neeza held her nerve to edge past Urvi Surlakar 3-2 in the Women’s final. Ishita Colaso stole the spotlight with a double crown, winning the Girls U15 and U19 titles without dropping a game.

Other winners included Anaya Shukla and Ishaan Colaso in the U11 section, Aayushi Amonkar and Ruhaan Shaikh in U13, and Chandan Caro in U15 Boys. Aaron bounced back to beat Chandan in the U19 final.

In the Para category, Chetan Salgaonkar and Stany Dsouza triumphed in their respective divisions. The Veterans and Veterans Elite categories saw Neeraj Kannure, Mithun Kanji, Abhinav Jaju, and John Xavier emerge as champions.
