Arsenal maintained a perfect start to the Champions League with a 3-1 victory over Bayern Munich, moving top of their group and sending a clear statement to Europe.

Jurrien Timber gave Arsenal the lead in the 22nd minute from a Bukayo Saka corner, only for Bayern’s 17-year-old Lennart Karl to equalise before halftime. Arsenal dominated the second half, with substitutes Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli scoring to seal a deserved win. The victory marked Arsenal’s first over Bayern in a decade.

Liverpool’s struggles continued as PSV Eindhoven defeated them 4-1 at Anfield. An early penalty from Ivan Perisic, awarded for a Virgil van Dijk handball, set the tone. Couhaib Driouech scored twice and Guus Til

added another, leaving Liverpool unable to recover despite 26 attempts on goal.

Real Madrid staged a dramatic 4-3 comeback against Olympiacos, powered by Kylian Mbappe’s four goals, including a hat-trick in just over six minutes. Olympiacos had briefly led twice, but Mbappe, assisted by Vinicius Jr, ensured Madrid claimed a vital win and moved to fifth in

the group.

Paris St Germain came from behind twice to beat Tottenham Hotspur 5-3. Vitinha scored a hat-trick, while Fabian Ruiz and Pacho also netted. Tottenham led twice through Richarlison and Randal Kolo Muani, but PSG’s resilience carried them through despite finishing with 10 men.
