Corjem: BB Brothers Raia clinched the inaugural All Goa Volleyball Tournament title, overcoming a spirited challenge from Mauli Kulmaya in a hard-fought four-set thriller at Our Lady of Carmel Chapel ground, Corjem on Monday.
The Raia-based outfit demonstrated superior composure in the high-stakes final, securing the championship with a 30-28, 27-25, 22-25, 25-19 victory.
The match, characterized by intense rallies and tactical depth, saw BB Brothers seized early momentum by narrowly taking the first two sets. Despite a resilient comeback from Mauli Kulmaya in the third set, BB Brothers maintained their clinical edge in the fourth to seal the title.
On the sidelines of the main event, Bhatti Sports Club claimed the 1st Curtorim Interward Tournament title with a dominant straight-sets victory over Agxem SC.
