Sai Avtar Anjuna defeated Ponda Footballers 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the 35th All Goa St Anne’s Festival Inter-Village Soccer 2025 at the Animal Husbandry Ground, Curti, Ponda
on Tuesday.

Faheez scored the decisive goal in the 10th minute, capitalizing on a rare opportunity in an otherwise evenly contested match. Despite their strong efforts, the hosts Ponda Footballers failed to find the net, missing multiple chances to equalize in front of a vocal home crowd.

Faheez was named Man of the Match for his match-winning performance. The award was presented by Inacio Noronha.
