FC Mangalore trounce Churchill Brothers

FC Mangalore cruised to a dominant 5-0 victory over Churchill Brothers in the AIFF U-17 Elite Youth League at the SAG, Benaulim, on Friday.

Mangalore’s Shifan KM was the standout performer, scoring twice, while Denny Singh, Mohammed Rahmathulla, and Zayed Haque each netted once to seal the comprehensive win.

Meanwhile, at the Ella Ground, FC Goa and Dempo SC played out a 2-2 draw. FC Goa’s Ruell Goes and Josley Gomes found the net for the Gaurs, while Dempo responded through Vishal Chawan and Favio Martins.

In Belgaum, Sesa FA edged Belgaum United 1-0. The only goal of the match came in unfortunate fashion, with Pruthviraj Kangralkar scoring an own goal to hand Sesa FA the win.
