Panaji: Goa defeated Himachal Pradesh by two wickets in a league match of the CAP Under-19 Men’s Inter-State One-Day Tournament (Siechem Trophy 2026) at Puducherry, on Friday.
Chasing 96, Goa reached 96/8 in 19 overs after slipping to 62/8. Mihir Kudalkar anchored the chase with an unbeaten 37 off 25 balls, while Jai Kanguri remained unbeaten on one as Goa sealed victory with six balls to spare.
Earlier, Himachal Pradesh were bowled out for 95 in 19.4 overs after electing to bat. Japneet Singh top-scored with 17, while Jayaditya Dogra made 14 and Aditya Kataria scored 13.
Vedant Dabral claimed 4/49, while Kudalkar (3/7) and Govind Sawal (3/39) shared six wickets. Kudalkar was named Player of the Match for his all-round performance.
