New Delhi

The seventh season of Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), India’s premier franchise-based table tennis league, will be held in Goa in July this year, organisers announced on Friday.

The competition will take place at the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Indoor Stadium, marking the first time the coastal state will host the league since its inception in 2017.

Matches will be broadcast on the Star Sports Network, while digital streaming will be available on JioHotstar, ensuring fans across the country can follow the action live.

Organised by 11Sports Pvt Ltd under the aegis of the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI), UTT has grown into one of the country’s prominent sporting leagues, featuring a mix of international stars and leading Indian paddlers.

UTT co-promoter Vita Dani said the league has played an important role in strengthening India’s table tennis ecosystem by providing exposure and competition opportunities for domestic players.

“Ultimate Table Tennis has steadily become a key pillar in India’s table tennis ecosystem. The league has created greater exposure and stronger competition for Indian players, and we hope it continues to contribute to the long-term development of the sport,” Dani said.

Since its launch, the league has featured several top players including veteran Achanta Sharath Kamal as well as emerging Indian paddlers such as Diya Chitale, Manav Thakkar and Manush Shah.

The upcoming season is expected to once again bring together leading global and Indian talent.

Details regarding the player auction and team rosters will be announced in the coming weeks.
