Panaji: Goan riders Aditya Samant, Aviral Gurung and Sufiyan Khan delivered an impressive performance at the Deccan Conqueror Motorsport competition held in Pune, earning multiple podium finishes and bringing laurels to the state in one of India’s toughest endurance racing events.
Aditya Samant of Valpoi emerged as one of the standout performers, finishing 2nd in the Royal Enfield Class, 3rd in the Intermediate Class and 5th in the Indian Open Class.
Aviral Gurung secured 2nd place in the Beginners Class, while Sufiyan Khan finished 4th in the same category, contributing to Goa’s strong overall showing at the event.
The competition tested speed, stamina, skill and mental strength, with participants from across the country taking part across categories.
Aditya Samant has been a consistent performer for Goa at state, national and international events, earning multiple accolades over the years. His latest success drew appreciation from across the state, particularly from Sattari.
