The King’s School-Goa U-17 girls ended their 65th Subroto Cup campaign in style, thrashing Sainik School 6-0 in their final Group A fixture at the Rajokri Football Ground on Thursday.
Analee D’Costa was the standout performer, scoring four goals, while Rida Jamadar and Joiada Shelomi Rocha added one each as the Goa State champions closed their campaign with a commanding display.
The victory capped a tournament in which The King’s School faced teams from across the country, having earlier drawn 0-0 against Uttar Pradesh before losing 3-0 to Arunachal Pradesh.
This was the school’s second appearance at the Subroto Cup Nationals after representing Goa in 2024.
The team was coached by Sagun Gaonkar and Domiana Gomendes, with Nalini Rodrigues serving as team coordinator.
