Rajshekar Harikant, Abhijit Bhandare star for their respective teams

Panaji: RC Goa rode on a blistering unbeaten knock by skipper Rajshekhar Harikant to cruise to a six-wicket win over Priority Titans, while Sun Estate Warriors secured a five-wicket victory against Baale Tigers in the PGML 5.0 tournament at the Panaji Gymkhana ground, Campal, on Sunday.

Put in to bat, Priority Titans were restricted to 106 for eight in 20 overs, with RC Goa’s bowlers maintaining tight control throughout.

Rijul Pathak top-scored with 34, but the Titans failed to build momentum as Gauresh Khandepakar (2/14), Ramnath Gaonkar (2/17) and Dattesh Priolkar (2/28) shared the wickets.

RC Goa made light work of the chase, reaching 111 for four in just 10.5 overs. Harikant led from the front with a power-packed 55 off 19 balls, striking seven sixes and a four, as Aryan Mashelkar added 26 to ensure a swift finish.

In the second match, Baale Tigers were bowled out for 115 in 19 overs after opting to bat. Samar Dubhashi remained unbeaten on 37, while Dhiraj Phadte scored 33. Sun Estate Warriors chased down the target in 15 overs, reaching 116 for five, with Abhijit Bhandare top-scoring with 51 off 30 balls.
