Panaji: Samarth Kamat, Mukesh Gauns, Kanika Vernekar and Shreekrushna Sakpal were the standout performers as they secured double crowns each at the Republic Cup Badminton at the Indoor Stadium, Campal.

Samarth Kamat underlined his all-round ability by winning the men’s doubles title with Shivam Prabhu Desai and the

mixed doubles crown alongside Dakshita Bandhopadhyay.

Mukesh Gauns impressed in men’s singles before teaming up with Umesh Gauns to lift the parent-child title.

Kanika Vernekar dominated the U13 girls’ singles and later partnered Aditi Dhargalkar to claim the women’s doubles trophy.

Shreekrushna Sakpal completed his double with victories in the U19 boys’ singles and men’s doubles, where he paired with Aman Prasad Singh.
