Vagator: Sporting Clube de Goa stormed back with a dominant second-half performance to clinch a 3–0 victory over Chapora Yuvak Sangh SC in the Goa Professional League at the Vagator Ground on Sunday.

After a scoreless opening half, the game swung decisively in Sporting’s favour in the 62nd minute when a Chapora player picked up a yellow card for a tackle on Alves, with the pressure steadily mounting thereafter. Sporting finally broke through in the 68th minute as Rohan Rodrigues found room on the left and drove a direct strike into

the net.

Chapora had no time to regroup. Two minutes later, Naocha rose to meet a delivery from the right and nodded it into the path of Joyson Gaoncar, who finished with ease to make it 2-0. Gaoncar completed his brace in the 72nd minute, latching onto a long ball from Dhiraj Chauhan before calmly slotting into an empty net from the right with the goalkeeper caught out of position.

In another match at Nagoa ground, Clube de Salgaocar and Cortalim Villagers SWSC played out a goalless draw.
