St. Savio Sports Club, Calangute stormed into the quarterfinals of the Assonora United Super Soccer Tournament with a dominant 5–1 win over St. Anthony’s Sports Club, Marna.

Fasel D’Souza set the tone in the 10th minute, finishing off a quick one-two with Richard to open the scoring. Tanay Shirodkar added a second in the 25th minute with a neat placement to the right of the keeper, giving St. Savio a 2–0 lead at halftime.

After the break, St. Savio continued to control the game and added three more goals through Pedro, Richard, and Dominic to complete the rout. St. Anthony’s managed a late consolation through
Brandon Pereira.

Fasel D’Souza was named Man of the Match for his impactful performance. He received the award from former GFA VP Francis Fernandes.
