Cybercrime expert Dr. Rakshit Tandon recently conducted Cyber Security Essentials workshops at Sharda Mandir School (Classes 9 to 12) and S.S. Dempo College, reaching over 700 students. The sessions addressed online safety, digital etiquette, and emerging cyber threats.
Organised by Cogniflux Training and Consulting Private Limited, the workshops focused on practical online safety tips and also introduced students to career opportunities in the growing field of cybersecurity.
“Equipping students with the right tools is essential for building a secure digital future,” said Manoj Patil, Founder of Cogniflux, emphasising the need for greater cyber awareness among youth.
Subsequent sessions were held at Mushtifund School, Cujira, followed by a programme for CEOs and corporate leaders at Taj Cidade de Goa, Dona Paula. A corporate training session for professionals and IT experts is scheduled for June 13 at Hotel Fern Kadamba, Old Goa.
These workshops are part of a broader initiative to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to stay safe online.
