Founded by Suresh Borkar, Swarnam began its journey as a destination wedding venue inspired by Maharashtrian traditions. Recognising the growing needs of the local community Swarnam transformed into a corporate hotel in 2017.

The hotel now receives business guests from the Kundaim and Corlim industrial areas, while also becoming a popular spot for weddings and celebrations. Despite challenges faced during the Covid pandemic, the team continued to innovate and expand.

With the opening of Pangat, Swarnam realises its long-held dream of offering hotel guests a quality in-house vegetarian dining experience.

For banquet clients, the new restaurant now makes it possible to offer all-inclusive event packages- covering venue, decoration, and catering, providing greater convenience and value.

The inauguration featured traditional lamp lighting, ribbon cutting, and a sampling of Pangat’s signature vegetarian dishes.
