Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Sunday said that the three Pakistan national who were in Goa on Short Term Visa have already left the state.

Sawant said that as per his directions, police have started the combing operation and taking action on unauthorised persons residing in Goa. “The related data will be submitted to me by Sunday evening,” he said.

Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah had directed all CMs  to ensure that no Pakistani citizen stays in India beyond the deadline set for them.

Meanwhile, Sawant after listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Man ki Baat’, posted on social media, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed his commitment to retaliate and teach a firm lesson to terrorists, terrorist handlers and their sympathisers and bring them to justice. He reiterated that 140 crore-plus Indians are standing behind every victim and their families and firm to strengthen unity, integrity and sovereignty of Bharat.”

Sawant said that the PM lauded India’s achievements in the space sector and paid tribute to Padma Vibhushan Dr K Kasturirangan, the former ISRO chairman and one of the architects of the NEP 2020.

“The PM narrated the importance of alertness in dealing with natural disasters; the Sachet App developed by National Disaster Management Authority shall serve the purpose in saving lives and property in the events of natural calamities,” he said.
