Margao

Vasco Gymkhana outclassed MCC by 33 runs and clinched the 2nd Exposure Trophy in Margao.

Batting first, Vasco Gymkhana posted 247 for 9 in 40 overs, thanks to solid contributions from Parth Sankpal and Swanik Phadte. Sankpal led the charge with a composed 67, while Phadte struck 55 to lay the foundation for a challenging total. Dnyan Naik added a useful 25 lower down the order. Ansh Sable was the pick of MCC’s bowlers with figures
of 3 for 44.

In reply, MCC struggled to maintain momentum despite promising knocks from Jonas Pereira (40), Samarth J (36) and Pratik Khedekar (31). Vasco’s disciplined bowling attack kept striking at regular intervals to bowl MCC out for 214 in 33.4 overs.

Asaad Saudagar played a key role with the ball, finishing with impressive figures of 3 for 31 to guide Vasco Gymkhana
to victory.

Parth Sankpal capped off a memorable tournament by winning both the Man of the Final and Man of the Tournament awards. Jonas Pereira was adjudged Best Batsman, while Asaad Saudagar earned the Best Bowler prize.
