Vagator PYSC clinched a narrow 2-1 win over FC Tuem in the GFA Second Divison League at Vagator ground on Tuesday.
The match saw a lively start, with Vagator PYSC taking the lead in the 23rd minute. Umesh Pujar was the architect, finishing off a well-placed cross to give his side the advantage.
FC Tuem struggled to break down Vagator’s defense but came alive after the break.
In the 52nd minute, FC Tuem equalized through Vishan Daware, who fired one in, bringing the game back to level terms.
Both teams pressed for a winner, but it was Vagator PYSC who found the decisive blow in the dying moments.
In the 84th minute, Mohammer Sahil smashed it in to restore Vagator’s lead. Despite FC Tuem’s efforts to respond, Vagator held firm to claim a crucial 2-1 win.
