On the issue of touts operating on the beach, members said that they were doing so illegally. Barretto said the panchayat would write to the police again seeking additional patrolling on the beach.

Discussions also ensued over the recent sand dune issue, in which locals questioned the panchayat about permissions for clearing bushes on the sand dune.
