Betalbatim: Guardian Angel SC Curchorem eased past Curtorim Gymkhana 3-0 to advance in to the quarterfinals of 8th Martin’s Cup organized by Betalbatim Sporting Club at Betalbatim on Thursday.
Guardian Angel’s Regan Costa opened the scoring in the 4th minute while Victorino Fernandes netted a brace.
Curtorim Gymkhana pushed hard to find a breakthrough but the Guardian Angel defense held firm to seal a 3-1 win and secure a spot in the quarterfinal.
Guardian Angel’s Oswin Rodrigues was awarded the Player of the Match by Gladwin Fernandes.
