Keith Pinto added 19 before falling to Siddharth Desai, who picked up 2/28. Umer Nazir claimed the other wicket, leaving Dempo trailing by 79 runs heading into Day 2.

At the GCA Ground in Sanguem, Geno SC posted 214 before being bowled out in 73 overs against Chowgule SC.
