Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would secure victory in the Mandrem constituency in 2027.

Addressing over 200 BJP karyakartas during the Karyakarta Melava on Monday, he lauded their dedication and urged them to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Sawant congratulated newly elected block president Uttam Pokhare and other committee members.

“Though BJP does not have an MLA in Mandrem, Sopte has kept his office open for the last three years, working for the development of the constituency. The lotus will bloom here in 2027 because our karyakartas are capable of ensuring victory,”
Sawant said.

Speaking about the role of booth presidents in the election process, he stressed the importance of BJP’s core principles—Antyodaya, Samajodaya, and Gramodaya—in party-building efforts.

Sawant urged karyakartas to focus on reaching out to youth, women, and senior citizens while ensuring that government schemes benefit people at the
grassroots level.

The event was attended by BJP state president Damu Naik, Dayanand Karbotkar, former Panjim MLA Siddharth Kunkalkar, and former Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte.
