Snow’s Football Academy clinched a narrow 1-0 victory over Salcete Football Club in the GFA U-17 Division II League at the Rosary Church ground, Navelim, on Monday.

After a tightly contested first half, the breakthrough came in the 65th minute when Anslan Colaco found the back of the net to give Snow’s FA the lead.

Jaedon Dias of Snow’s FA picked up a yellow card during the match.

In another fixture held at the Seraulim panchayat ground, United Sports Club of Seraulim recorded a comfortable 2-0 win over Ave Maria Athletic & Walkers Club.

Aniket Kumar gave Seraulim the early lead in the 10th minute.

Ave Maria regrouped and pushed for an equalizer but the Seraulim defense held firm. At halftime the score 1-0.

In the second half Seraulim’s Aniket struck once again the 54th minute to seal his brace and all three points. Ziyan Shaikh of Ave Maria received a booking in the second half.
