Dempo SC ruthlessly swept aside Vasco SC with a commanding 5–0 victory in their GFA U-20 Division I League clash at Ella ground, on Tuesday. delivering a performance that underlined their dominance at this level.
Swavel Furtado opened the scoring in style, smashing a crisp volley into the net after meeting Topan Minz’s corner with precision. Moments later, Murphy Fernandes doubled the lead with a stunning 20-yard free-kick that rocketed past the helpless Vascoc SC custodian.
The young Golden Egales then tightened their grip through Dalvin Coelho, who showed great composure to lift a clever chip over the advancing goalkeeper for 3–0. Swavel then produced the goal of the evening—slaloming past two defenders, rounding the keeper, and rolling the ball home for his second.
