Goa Police SC edged past Sesa FA 2-1 in the Goa Professional League at Mapusa
Sesa were forced into an early change in goal after Mahadev Gawade suffered a concussion in a collision with Kunal Salgaonkar, with Micky Dias replacing him.
Goa Police went ahead when Kunal converted a penalty after Aditya Salgaonkar fouled Raunak Toraskar. Sesa hit back through Jeff Dias’ first-time half-volley, before Mayuresh Naik restored Police’s lead by rounding the keeper and finishing neatly.
