Navelim SC reached the quarterfinals of the Franco Gouveia Memorial Tournament with a 2-0 win over Ambelim SC at the DSYA Ground, Colva.
Joyson Couthino scored twice in the 14th and 18th minutes to give Navelim a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Ambelim FC pressed after the break but Navelim held firm, with Joyson and Vellington
controlling midfield.
Joyson was named Man of the Match and received the award from Dalan Rodrigues, in the presence of Benjamin Silva.
