Chetan Kurtikar emerged champion of the June 2026 Chess Tournament
after registering a perfect six wins from six rounds at Curti.
Aarush Gaude finished runner-up with five points, while Vedant Priolkar secured third place. Karthik Pankar, Dhirav Rathod, Tansh Gaude and Divyesh Priolkar completed the top seven standings.
Among the category winners, Divesh Kurtikar claimed the Best Under-9 prize, Digvijay Gaude won the Best Under-11 award and Gaurav Temyekar secured the Best Under-13 title. Yashvin Gaude received the Promising Player award.
The tournament featured 30 participants. The final was graced by the presence of Bhushan Bhave, Sagar Sakordekar, Santosh Kerkar, Lala Satarkar, Santoshi Priolkar, Sumentha Gaude and Anand Kurtikar.
