Shaheen, Amaira, Michael complete double title hauls

Mapusa: Sufiya Shaikh claimed a triple crown, while Shaheen CK, Amaira Dhumatker and Michael Mare secured double titles at the All Goa State Ranking Badminton Tournament 2026, organised by Mapusa Shuttlers under the aegis of the Goa Badminton Association at Peddem.

Sufiya won the U19 Girls Singles title, defeating Shivanjali Thite 15-8, 15-8. She then partnered Shivanjali to win the Girls Doubles crown with a 15-11, 15-8 victory over Aarohi and Dimple before teaming up with Shaheen to capture the Mixed Doubles title, beating Aswin and Aarohi.

Shaheen completed a double by joining Aswin Mannambalath to win the U19 Boys Doubles title against Advait and Vansh 15-13, 15-6.

In the U13 section, Amaira won the Girls Singles title against Komal Kothari before the duo combined to lift the Girls Doubles crown. Michael secured the Boys Singles title with a win over Pratik Borkar and later partnered Ayansh Sanke to claim the Boys Doubles title.

Advait Balakrishnan won the U19 Boys Singles title, defeating Shaheen in the final.
