Salgeo Dias, Reagan Costa score a goal each to outplay Navelim SC 2-0 in final
Benaulim: Guardian Angel SC outclassed Navelim SC 2-0 to win the 47th Cana-Benaulim Soccer Tournament, organised by Sporting Club Cana-Benaulim, at the Dando, Benaulim.
After a goalless first half, Guardian Angel took control of the contest in the second session.
Salgeo Dias broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute before Reagan Costa added the second goal to seal the victory.
Earlier, both teams created chances in an evenly contested opening half. Navelim midfielders Joyson Coutinho and Sam Pereira controlled possession, while Guardian Angel gradually gained the upper hand after the break. Navelim goalkeeper Mehboob Sayyed kept his side in
the contest with a series of saves before Guardian Angel found the breakthrough.
