The Saraswat Brahman Samaj felicitated meritorious students from Class 10, HSSC, graduation, post-graduation and various professional courses, including medicine, architecture and engineering, at a function held recently at the Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji.
Addressing the students, chief guest and Goa Institute of Management Director Ajit Parulekar spoke about the importance of pursuing interests beyond studies, including sports, music, art and culture. He said, “Students should set high goals and work hard to achieve them.”
Two members were also felicitated: Mapusa-based architect Gurudutt Gajanan Sanzgiri and Dr. Guruprasad Datta Naik, a cardiologist associated with Goa Medical College who also practises in the USA.
Executive president advocate, Avadhut Salatry presented a report on the Samaj’s activities over the
last 38 years.
