BJP national general secretary (organisation) B L Santhosh, who had visited Goa on Tuesday, met a number of state office bearers of the party, besides the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and the state BJP president Damodar Naik and reviewed the functioning of the party and the state administration.
Later, Naik said that Santhosh was in Goa to conduct organisational meetings. He also said
that several discussions were held on strengthening of the party in the state adding, “No decision on cabinet reshuffle was taken on the occasion.”
It is learnt that Santhosh has also gathered information about the popularity of the party in Goa, in view of the state assembly election scheduled in 2027.
Furthermore, Santhosh reviewed the ongoing preparations for the two-day all-India women’s conference at Bandora, in Ponda taluka, scheduled on March 13 and March 14. The national president of the
BJP is expected to attend
the inauguration of this conference.
