Dhaara Art Gallery has opened its doors at La Campala Colony in Miramar. Founded by Durga Nadkarny Velingkar, the gallery was inaugurated on March 8.
Along with artworks by Velingkar, the gallery also features paintings by noted artists including Viraj Naik, Hitesh Pankar, Nirupa Naik, Vasudev Shetye, Pranali Naik Gaunekar, Praveen Naik, Ajay Kothawale, Siddharth Gaitonde, Shankar Turi, Afaf Gawi, and Arup Sarkar.
Dhaara provides an opportunity for budding artists to display their work alongside renowned artists and also makes its space available to other artists for solo and group exhibitions. The gallery also features Goan-style artefacts, azulejos art, painted fabrics, and
decorative pieces.
A designated space within the gallery is dedicated to art classes conducted by experienced art professionals for both children and adults. These classes and workshops aim to encourage creativity across age groups.
