The Production Lab at St Theresa’s Higher Secondary School, Candolim, was filled with mouth-watering aromas recently as the annual Chef of the Year 2025 competition was organised for students of Class 12 of the vocational stream of catering and restaurant management. The event aims to encourage students to showcase their culinary creativity and presentation skills and was judged by faculty for Food Production and Patisserie, Gesto Culinary and Hospitality Academy, Suraj Borkar; Principal, Gesto Culinary and Hospitality Academy, Dona Paula, Joana Pereira; Goan Master Chef of Holiday Inn Candolim, Urmila Fernandes; and ex-student Melanie Fernandes. The event was coordinated by the faculty Alisha Fernandes, Roselle Braganza, and Satchel D’Cruz.
