Vasco: A three-vehicle accident on the Verna highway on Sunday afternoon left a rider injured after the driver of a speeding Thar, Shikhar Shetty, 24, a resident of Colvale, lost control of the vehicle. Police said a major tragedy was narrowly averted. The collision involved the Thar, another four-wheeler, and a two-wheeler.
Police also said that there were three to four occupants in the four-wheeler into which the Thar crashed.
